| David Hubbard, who was born in 1820
was married in 1847 to Elizabeth (known as Betsy) Morby who was born in 1829, (Vict. Marr.
Reg. 5208). David died in 1895 and Betsy in 1900. They are both buried in the old St.
Kilda Cemetery (which is now closed and the records are kept at Springvale) in the
Wesleyan Section, Area C, Grave 715A. Also in the same grave is buried Mary Ann Skinner -
their eldest daughter and wife of William Skinner. David and Betsy's family consisted of: 1. Robert Hubbard - born 1850 at Richmond (Vic. Reg. 10729). 2. Mary Ann Hubbard - born 1851, died 1939. Married in 1875 William Skinner - born 1847 died 1923. Their children were: William John Skinner b 1876 d 1956 (NZ); Frank Skinner b 1878 d 1878; Herbert Henry Skinner b 1878 d 1958 (NZ); Percival George Skinner b1887 d 1972. 3. Charlotte Hubbard - born 1854. Married in 1885 George Ronald Ingram. Their known child was George Morby Ingram b 1889 d 1961 (see notes next page). 4. Kesia Hubbard - born 1856 d 1858. 5. William Hubbard - born 1862 at Prahran (Vic. Reg. 16898). |
